On the 23th of June, the ULg organised a seminar on the thematic: Energy System modelling at ULiège. Paolo Thiran and Gauthier Limpens have been invited to present the models they develop through the project BEST-energy project. In particular, a collaboration started with ULiège and KULeuven to couple two complementary models. This study aims at designing reserve capacities for the power grid.
 
In a spirit of open science, this preliminary meeting confirmed the mutual interest to foster the collaboration between the two research groups and develop complementary and compatible tools to analyse the future energy system of Belgium.
