François Vallée (UMONS) is currently Associate Professor within the Electrical Power Engineering Unit. His research interests include renewable-based generation modeling for electrical system adequacy and reliability studies. In a recent past, he was director of the ORES Chair at the University of Mons (2015-2018). 
He is currently member of the governing board from the ‘Société Royale Belge des Electriciens – SRBE/KBVE’ (2017) while being Associate Editor of several international journals (e.g. International Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems-Wiley).
