Françoise Bartiaux is sociologist and demographer. She is Professor at UCLouvain of environmental sociology, and taught previously mixed-methods research. Her research activities and projects’ coordination are mainly in the field of sociology of energy, especially in the residential sector, namely on energy-related daily practices, energy retrofit, and energy deprivation. Her research is often realised in multidisciplinary team, and she uses both quantitative (surveys data) and qualitative (mainly in-depth interviews) methods.
