Line Vanparys started her academic career with a bachelor’s degree in political science at UCLouvain, before continuing with a master’s degree in sociology. She did her master internship at the Institute of Language and Communication of the UCLouvain. She worked within an existing research project: she elaborated a first version of the literature review on the interactions between experts and newspapers around climate change. Her dissertation focused on the theoretical weaknesses and policy implications of psychological behaviorist models used to study climate change.
Line works now as PhD student, on sociological models of consumption, in order to highlight the functioning and the levers of action of the latter.
