Maxime Remacle graduated from ULB and CentraleSupélec in 2020. He chose the electromechanical option with the specialization in energy. For his master’s thesis, he worked on the numerical simulation of methane/hydrogen and hydrogen/ammonia mixtures’ combustion for micro gas turbines applications. The purpose was to test the fuel flexibility of a flameless combustion chamber’s design and to study the NOx emissions.
In 2020, he started a PhD and joined the BEST project to test experimentally the mentioned fuels in an actual combustion chamber.
