On the 19th and 20th of May 2022, Martin Colla, Paolo Thiran, Panagiotis Varelas, Line Vanparys, Xavier Rixhon and Francesco Contino took part in a workshop in collaboration with the Lehrstuhl Energiesysteme & Energiewirtschaft of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB), led by Valentin Bertsch. Besides UCLouvain and RUB groups, researchers from DLR, EOENRC of RWTH Aachen University, EnBW and Jülich Foschungszentrum. Many topics have been presented and discussed: societal and behavioural aspects of the transition, energy system modelling, multi-objective optimisation, heat and energy storage. This workshop was the opportunity to present and challenge works, share good practices as well as foster potential future collaborations.
