Yuanfeng Wang is a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University. He received his doctoral degree (Doktor der technischen Wissenschaften, Dr. techn.) from Technische Universität Graz and his master’s degree (Master of Engineering, M. Eng.) from Tianjin University. His research interests cover numerical simulations, real driving emissions, and synthetic fuels. In 2017 – 2021, he worked as a research assistant and completed his doctoral thesis with a focus on modelling the behaviours of combustion engines in transient driving scenarios in the Institute of Internal Combustion Engines and Thermodynamics at Technische Universität Graz. In 2022, he joined the BEST team and worked on the simulations of hydrogen combustion engines.
